AHRA adds Junior Dragsters
The AHRA Jr. Dragster Championships will be held October 2 at Desert Thunder Raceway in Midland, Texas.
The Jr. Dragster Championships will feature a limited open-entry, pre- registration format in multiple classes. Participation details will be released in the near future according to AHRA CEO Troy Moe.
"Jr. Dragsters are the seed of all drag racing and the life-blood of our Sportsman programs," Moe said. "Our program is focused on developing safe racing habits for the drivers as well as providing a safe, wholesome, family-friendly environment for the participants.”
Rules and car specifications can be found on the AHRA website at www.AHRAdragracing.com. Additional classes are being added to accommodate as many racers as possible, Moe said. [02/24/10]
